HISTORY Timeline Complete a timeline of the students favorite lessons.  The timeline should include at least 10 events.

FINISH ANY HISTORY PAGES NOT COMPLETED

Cader: Complete History Quiz 24 on pg. 317  .  The students are making a 15 question quiz for me. Use the lessons from the 2nd semester.  Also, include an answer sheet.

We are working quickly to get to the birth of Jesus during this last nine weeks.  The students will have several history pages each week.  Some of them we are completing in class, but it will be very important for them not to get behind.  Their homework is a large part of their grade since many of the quizzes are open book.  The summaries let me know they are comprehending the lessons.

Also, on the pages it should be  THE STUDENT'S SUMMARY.  They should not be copying directly from the book OR from a parent made summary.  It is the end of the year and they should all be able to recall information from the lessons we have completed to write a sentence.

5th-6th

SCIENCE

BONUS POINT ACTIVITY:  We are having an anatomy party next Thursday.  If the students bring in a food that represents a part of the body we have studied they will receive bonus points.  it can be a candy, cake, cookies, etc. (example Twizzler pull aparts to represent blood vessels, a cake to represent the brain, etc.)

HISTORY

Timeline due next Wed. Choose 5 lessons from each quarter (20 total). The timeline should

include the date, a sentence summary of the event, and a picture. This is the last history

grade of the year!

The weekly assignments count toward the student's grade, so it is vital for them to complete and turn in their work.  Work turned in late will not be given full credit (unless your child was absent) so please make sure that homework is completed on time.  If you need to contact me please call me @392-7430.

I am a little confused.  Landon says he isnt assigned a pape for emperiors or martyrs. Is he due a paper on the afore mentioned subject?  I am not sure if your direction is both 5th and 6th or just one of those as Landon states.   Please advise.....

The homework assignments are separated by classes (3-4 & 5-6) not grades. I hope this helps. Also, if a student does not have the needed pages for history they can write a short summary for the missing pages. Please still complete the lessons as the students get a grade for homework completed.
